Is there a VSCode extension to use my Claude tokens easily?

I recently purchased $60 worth of Claude tokens but I'm not liking the command line interface (CLI) that comes with it. I'm wondering if there are any VSCode extensions, similar to Cline, that would allow me to utilize my tokens. I checked out Cline, but it seems to only work with APIs, and I'm a bit unclear on how that all works. Any suggestions?

You're right about Cline—it requires the token feature to be integrated into it. However, you'll be able to track your API usage through your Anthropic control panel.

It sounds like you might not fully understand what you've bought. Those Claude tokens require an Anthropic API key for access. Essentially, you’ve purchased credits to use Claude Models, which will involve input/output tokens. Before diving deeper, I'd recommend doing a little research about how this all works. And just a tip: be sure to secure your credit card info wherever you bought those tokens; it's a good idea to set spending limits too.

You should look into using Claude Code. It's specifically designed for that purpose. Just connect it with your Anthropic Console account to make use of those $60 credits. Also, don't forget to set up budget limits on your Anthropic Console and turn off the auto-refill option if you don't want any surprises!
