Is there a way to convert HDMI or DisplayPort to DVI for 144Hz?

I bought a monitor that only supports 144Hz through a DVI port, but my Zotac Gaming 1660 Ti graphics card doesn't have a DVI port. I tried using HDMI to DVI and DisplayPort to DVI converters, but they only work at 1080p and 60Hz. Can anyone suggest a cable or adapter that will allow me to achieve 144Hz?

You'll need an adapter that supports dual-link DVI to get 144Hz. From what I remember, finding reliable adapters that can do this isn't easy. You might want to check out older forum posts for recommendations. Here's a thread that might help you: [DisplayPort to DVI Adapter 144Hz](https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/7k1y9d/displayport_to_dvi_adapter_144hz/)

Yeah, I looked into it a while back too, and an active converter was the only option I found. It was pricier than the monitor itself!

Try searching for "DP to DVI 144" or "HDMI to DVI 144" in your favorite online shops. Make sure to check the versions of the cables: DisplayPort 1.2 can handle 1080p at 144Hz, and DisplayPort 1.4 goes up to 4K at 120Hz or even 8K at 60Hz. HDMI 2.1 also supports 4K at 144Hz!
