Is This £1,000 Gaming PC Build a Good Choice?

I'm planning a new gaming PC build with a budget of around £1,000. I already have a 512GB NVMe SSD, so that part doesn't need to be included. I've put together a parts list and would appreciate advice on whether the build is balanced, along with any worthwhile improvements or changes.

I’d strongly consider spending about £120 more on an RX 9070 with 16GB of VRAM. The 16GB RX 9060 XT offers pretty poor value here, while the RX 9070 can be roughly 60% faster for around 30% more on the graphics card. That only adds about 10% to the total build cost and should delay the need for a GPU upgrade.

That makes sense. Does the rest of the build look balanced, or would you change anything else?

The build looks good overall. Just install the RAM in the motherboard’s recommended paired slots—usually DIMM 2 and 4, or 1 and 3, depending on the board. That enables dual-channel memory, which is especially helpful with a non-X3D processor.

Got it, thanks!
