Is This $1200 PC Build a Good Deal?

I'm thinking of buying a prebuilt PC from a local builder for RM5100 (around $1200) and wanted some feedback on the specs they offer. The build includes an AMD Ryzen 5 7500f CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU (from either Gigabyte or MSI), a free PCCOOLER RT400 BK for cooling, a GIGABYTE A620M H motherboard, GSKILL Trident Z5 RGB 32GB RAM at 7200MHz, a 500GB KLEVV or KINGSTON Gen4 SSD, a CORSAIR CX650 power supply (80+ Bronze), and an Antec C5 Black Case. I plan to use this setup for 3-4 years and I'm curious if there are any potential issues with this build. Should I just go for it, or would it be better to buy the parts myself?

While this prebuilt isn't terrible, you can probably get better components for less money if you build it yourself. The choices they made seem cost-saving but a bit odd to me. Think about it before you commit!

If I decide to build it myself and stay within the $1200 budget, what parts would you suggest changing?

That motherboard is really basic—honestly, for that price, you should be expecting something like a B650(E) or B850. Plus, a 500GB SSD isn't enough; you'd typically want at least 1TB at this budget.

I have 2TB of SATA SSDs I'm planning to use in the new build, so storage isn't a big issue. If I upgraded to a 1TB SSD, would that be acceptable?

Consider getting an RX9070 instead. It has more VRAM and better performance for future-proofing.

I've been dabbling in novice 3D work and chose the 5070 because I read it's better than the 9070. How accurate is that?
