I'm looking to upgrade from a PS5 to a high-end gaming PC and I've put together a build that costs around $2.2K CAD. Here's what I'm planning on getting:
- **CPU**: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **GPU**: GeForce RTX 5070
- **Motherboard**: ASUS TUF B650-PLUS WiFi
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5
- **Storage**: Kingston 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD
- **CPU Cooler**: Corsair Nautilus 360 RS
- **Case**: Corsair 3500X (with 3 RS120 fans)
- **PSU**: MSI Mag A750GL
I'll be gaming at 1080p with a 300Hz monitor and I'm wondering if this setup is overkill for games like Valorant, Fortnite, Minecraft, and Rainbow Six Siege, or if I should consider some changes to save money.

You're definitely going a bit overboard with that cooler! A solid air cooler would be enough for the CPU. Plus, there are other NVMe SSDs that give you better performance for the price. You could also save some cash on the RAM by going for a less expensive option, like 6000 CL30.
Considering your budget, you're looking at builds that would typically feature the 5070 Ti or 9070 XT, which might be more than you need at 1080p. It's definitely a powerful setup, but it could be overkill for the games you're into.
Just to clarify, the $2.2K you mentioned is in CAD, right?
