I'm putting together a PC build with a budget of $2000 and wanted to get some feedback. Here's the list I'm considering: It's centered around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, paired with 32GB of G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RAM, a 2TB WD Black SN850X SSD, and a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. I also have an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer cooler and a BGears ATX case. The total comes to about $1953.87. Any advice or suggestions on this setup?

Great build overall, but if you're sticking with the same budget, look at switching to a 5070ti for more VRAM and better performance. Also, maybe consider a different power supply model; I've heard good things about Century's 1050W that is similarly priced.
Honestly, I think you’re overspending on RAM and the CPU. A 9600x paired with a 5070ti could work just as well. Just my two cents, but I’d ditch the expensive components if you're trying to stay within budget. Good luck out there!
Honestly, a 5070 for a $2000 PC is a tough sell. You could usually find a prebuilt with a 5080 in that price range. Have you checked around for those?
I've been looking but haven’t spotted one. Most 5080 builds seem to start in the mid $2000s.
If it were me, I'd just look for a prebuilt with a 5080 instead. It seems more cost-effective considering specs and future-proofing. What do you think?
Great suggestion, I'm definitely going to explore those options!
That RAM and SSD pricing is pretty steep! You might want to shop around for better deals. Also, make sure that cooler fits in your case; I've had bad luck with that size before! A standard cooler could save some hassle and cash. You could downgrade the CPU too—I mean, the x3d might be overkill for a 5070, right?
For real, the RAM is super pricey right now! Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks! I’ll definitely check that out.
