Hey everyone! After using my old GTX 960M laptop for more than nine years, I'm finally ready to upgrade to a desktop. I plan to use the new PC primarily for gaming, especially for titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Escape from Tarkov. I know this build won't be super powerful, but it's still a big leap from my 960M. Here's the list of parts I've researched and compiled:

|Component|Model|Price|
|:-|:-|:-|
|*CASE*|Montech Air 100 (mATX)|$60|
|*MOTHERBOARD*|GIGABYTE B550M AORUS ELITE 1.3 DDR4 PCIe 4.0 mATX|$84|
|*CPU*|AMD Ryzen 5 5600, 6C/12T, 3.5–4.4 GHz, Wraith Stealth|$88|
|*GPU*|Biostar Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5|$130|
|*PSU*|Corsair CX650, 650 W, 80+ Bronze, ATX|$64|
|*RAM*|AFOX GAMING 2×16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz, 1.35 V, Unbuffered|$69|
|*SSD*|ADATA LEGEND 860 1TB PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe 6000/4000|$60|
|***Total price:***||$555|

Can anyone tell me if these parts are compatible? Should I consider switching any of them out for something cheaper? Just a heads-up—I prefer not to buy a used GPU. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

It's a solid build for the price, but just a heads-up about the RX 580—it's not made new anymore and might be a used card from past mining activities. Make sure the shop you’re buying from is reliable and check if they provide any sort of warranty because these cards can have a rough past. Maybe look into getting a newer, lower-end card if budget permits.

Yeah, that's a good point! It's always a bit dicey with older GPUs. But if the shop is reputable and offers a warranty, that might make it worth it. Just do a bit of research on the shop's return policy as well!
