I'm looking to build a PC and I'm pretty new to this. I have a list of parts I've gathered so far, but I feel like I could use some guidance on whether I should switch out or replace anything. Here's what I've picked:
- CPU: Ryzen 9 9950x
- CPU cooler: Still need to decide on one
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ATX AM5
- RAM: Gskill Trident Z5 Neo RGB (2x32)
- SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB
- Video card: PNY OC GeForce RTX 5080
- Case: Undecided
- Power supply: Corsair RM850e 850 W Fully Modular ATX
Any advice on changes, additions, or things to watch out for would be super helpful!

It’d help to know what you’ll be using your PC for. Are you just gaming or are there other uses? Also, where are you located? Using a site like PCPartPicker can help you get a clearer picture of compatibility.
If you’re focusing on gaming, you might want to consider the Ryzen 9 9800x3d instead of the 9950x. It could save you some cash without sacrificing too much performance.
Yeah, I've heard good things about that. I’ll definitely look into it! Any recommendations for CPU coolers and how many I might need?

I'm in the US and it's mainly for gaming. I’m not interested in streaming or anything else really. I did put everything in PCPartPicker, but I’m not sure how to share that link.
