I'm frustrated with the high prices and finally ready to invest in a new PC build. Here's what I'm considering:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming OC 16GB (GDDR7)
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650-E WiFi
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5-6000 CL38 (XMP)
- SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe M.2
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- PSU: MSI MAG A850GL PCIe 5.0 – 850W
- Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow (RGB)
What do you think of this setup? Any suggestions or advice?

This build looks solid! The components you've picked are top-tier. I really like the Ryzen 7 7800X3D for gaming, and the RTX 5080 should handle anything you throw at it. Just make sure everything is compatible and you’re good to go!

Honestly, I think you could make better choices for your budget. For example, instead of the B650 motherboard, consider going for an 850 motherboard that optimizes performance. You might also find cost-effective alternatives for some components that don’t compromise your build.

Nice components! But have you considered going for a 5070 Ti instead of the 5080? The price difference is around $600 in my area, and I think for most games, the performance boost might not be worth it. Just something to think about!

$300 extra for the 5080 is a better deal now because the 5070 Ti's price has spiked. It might be worth it if you want to future-proof your build.

Great choice for that budget! However, I would recommend looking at RAM with a lower CAS latency than CL38. AMD CPUs really benefit from faster RAM, so try to snag something around CL34 if possible.

True, but with the X3D architecture, that higher latency might not impact performance as much. If it saves you money to put into other parts, I say go for it.
