I'm 15 and I want to build a PC for me and my dad. My budget is around €1200 ($1350). I'm considering the following specs: a 9060 XT 16GB GPU, a Ryzen 7 9700X CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz CL28, a 2TB Samsung 990 Evo Plus SSD, and a Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 motherboard. I'll also use a Thermalright FW SE 360 AIO cooler in a Lian Li O11D Mini V2 case with Thermalright fans. Will this set up be good for 1440p gaming and 4K video editing?

Make sure your editing software supports CUDA cores. If it does, a 5060 Ti GPU could be a better choice for performance over the 9060 XT.

That sounds like a solid setup! Just a heads up, 4K video files can take up a lot of space, so that 2TB SSD might fill up faster than you think. It's awesome for editing, but you might want to consider adding a larger HDD for extra storage if you're dealing with a lot of footage. Also, you might want to think about upgrading to 64GB of RAM later on for heavier editing tasks. Happy building!

Good point! I might chat with my dad about getting a larger HDD since video editing is mainly his gig.

If you're trying to save some cash, you could probably go with CL30 instead of CL28; the performance difference is minimal for most users. Also, consider getting an SSD with DRAM. It may not seem critical now, but it could help with performance down the road.

What do you mean by DRAM and HMB? Sounds like a power-up in a game!

HMB SSDs are a type that interacts with your main RAM, but for everyday use, DRAM SSDs will perform reliably better.
