I'm considering a PC build with a budget of around £700, leaning towards the lower end. Here's my planned build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/R4RXZc. I plan to upgrade the RAM and CPU cooler in the future since I want to allocate most of my budget towards the CPU and GPU. Also, I'm curious about the aesthetics—do you think the RGB lighting will look good? Any tips on cable management, especially since I'm using a fully modular PSU?

That build looks pretty solid! I wouldn't call it low-end at all—definitely a good value for mid-range.
You could save some cash with a Ryzen 5600 and a more affordable motherboard, then get a decent GPU for around £400-500. This way, you can still keep the build under budget and maybe grab some better components later on.
I’m worried that the Ryzen 5 5600 might bottleneck higher-end GPUs like the RX 7800XT. What do you think?
The RAM is the only concern I see. The cooler you picked should work great with that CPU. I have a smaller version with a 5700x3d, and it handles heat pretty well, barely hitting 65°C.
That’s good to know, I plan to upgrade the RAM later anyway!
Make sure to choose high-quality RAM. AMD systems can be picky with RAM timings, anything above CL36 could lead to stability problems.
Got it! I’ll prioritize getting better RAM after my build.
Thanks for the reassurance!
