Is this cheap RTX 4090 deal too good to be true?

I found an RTX 4090 being sold for a surprisingly low price, and the seller claims it's brand new in a plastic blister. However, I've heard that many RTX 4090s are being sold without their chips and VRAM, which raises some red flags for me. Can anyone help me figure out if this deal might be a scam? Here's the photo the seller provided: [link](https://ibb.co/QjbBNrpF)

That’s definitely not standard plastic wrap. Any legit seller wouldn’t drop the price to less than half of the usual market rate.

Honestly, high-end graphics cards being sold second-hand can be tricky. If you're considering this deal, make sure to use a payment method that allows you to get your money back if it’s not what you expected.

How cheap are we talking about, anyway?

If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Genuine RTX 4090s don’t typically come in plastic wrap. That’s suspicious for sure.
