Help! My USB Ports and Touchpad Aren’t Working on Winux

I'm new to Linux and decided to give Winux a shot since my old laptop can't handle Windows 11. The installation went smoothly, but I'm facing a couple of issues. First, my USB ports aren't functioning at all. Secondly, the touchpad requires me to physically click to operate, and I wish I could just tap to click instead. Also, I'd like to know if there's a way to make the GUI bigger since I plan on giving this laptop to my parents, who are used to Windows and would prefer a user-friendly setup. Any tips on fixing the USB ports, adjusting the GUI size, and changing the touchpad settings would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to look into some alternative Linux distributions that are more user-friendly. Winux isn’t very mainstream, and that could explain the USB issues. I recommend trying Debian, Mint, or Ubuntu—these tend to have better hardware support. If you're set on using Winux, check if there are any driver updates. For the touchpad, try looking in the system settings under 'Mouse & Touchpad' to see if ‘Tap to click’ is an option. As for making the GUI larger, you can usually find display settings in the control panel to adjust the size of icons and windows.

I totally get that you want a familiar setup for your parents! If you need something that looks more like Windows, maybe giving Zorin OS a shot is a good idea. It's designed specifically for users transitioning from Windows and would meet your needs without diving too deep into Linux commands.
