I'm planning a gaming and school PC in Bulgaria with a budget of about €800–€830. The build includes a Ryzen 5 7500F, a used RTX 3070 Ti for around €260, a 750W Cougar Bronze power supply, a 1TB M.2 SSD, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a Gigabyte B650 Eagle motherboard, a Xigmatek Hero II Air case, and a DeepCool AK400 CPU cooler. The GPU, RAM, and SSD will be used, and the listed prices are averages from local listings. Is this a good deal for the performance, especially for 1080p gaming and schoolwork? I'm choosing DDR5 and the AM5 platform because I'd like the option to upgrade later.

The AM5 setup is a sensible choice for future upgrades. The Ryzen 5 7500F is a strong gaming CPU, and a B650 board lets you move to a newer AM5 processor later. The main compromise is 16GB of RAM: it is still usable, but 32GB would be more comfortable for newer games, multitasking, and schoolwork. You could start with 16GB and add another matching kit later, or buy 2x16GB now if the price difference is manageable.
The 750W power supply has enough rated capacity for this hardware, but the quality and warranty matter more than the wattage alone. Since the RTX 3070 Ti can draw a fair amount of power, use the proper dedicated PCIe power cables and confirm the PSU is new and has good protections. Also check that the case has adequate airflow and that the cooler includes the correct AM5 mounting hardware.
At roughly €830, the build seems reasonable, particularly if the RTX 3070 Ti is in good condition. It should be very capable for 1080p gaming and can handle many games at 1440p as well. Before buying the used graphics card, test it under load and check temperatures, fan noise, and whether it shows any crashes or visual artifacts.
The original MSI B550-A Pro motherboard is not compatible with the Ryzen 5 7500F or DDR5 memory because it uses the older AM4 platform. Switching to the Gigabyte B650 Eagle fixes that problem and gives you the correct AM5 socket and DDR5 support. Make sure the memory kit is actually DDR5, ideally 2x8GB or preferably 2x16GB if your budget allows.

I’d avoid mixing separate memory kits if possible. Two identical 16GB modules are usually safer than adding another pair later, especially when running higher DDR5 speeds.
