Is this PC a good deal or overpriced?

I'm considering a Micro ATX setup found for $430, featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 8700G, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. I was initially thinking of building a mini-ITX computer, but this prebuilt seems like a tempting option. The only drawbacks I see are that the motherboard is basic, lacking Wi-Fi and PCIe 5.0, but I'm fine with using Ethernet. Based on my calculations, building a similar setup would cost me about $780 before taxes. My focus isn't on gaming, just wanting to learn Linux. I might explore adding a GPU like a 9060 or 9070xt in the future, or I can use my old 5700xt. Here's a quick rundown of the specs:

- AMD Ryzen 7 8700G Processor
- Radeon 780M AI Graphics
- 32 GB DDR5 5200 RAM
- 1 TB SSD
- MSI Pro A620M-E Motherboard
- Oversized Black Asus Case
- Wi-Fi Adapter
- New Keyboard and Optical Mouse
- Power Cord
- Sama 650W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply

Is this a used setup? It seems fine overall, and if anything were to go wrong, the parts aren't expensive to replace.

Yeah, it's used. It has a stock Ryzen CPU cooler; I'll check how the temps hold up.

Absolutely, it's definitely a steal! Just the CPU and RAM alone are worth more than half of that price. I'd say go for it!

I already bought it! I can always resell it later if needed. 🙂

For that price, especially with current RAM prices, it's a solid deal. You can play casual games, and when you're ready, you can always add a GPU later!
