Is This PC Build a Good Deal?

I'm considering buying an HP Victus 15L PC with some specific components: an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8 GB), an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD M.2. It's currently on sale for $999. Is that a good price? Also, how does it fare in terms of upgradability for future improvements?

It may seem cheaper than building your own, but that 8 GB card is going to become obsolete quickly. You might regret it later!

Honestly, that build shouldn't cost more than $700 at most. If you're looking to spend around $1000, you could get a much better setup if you assemble it yourself. A good option could be to go for an RTX 5060 Ti with 16 GB and 32 GB of RAM. If you have a Microcenter nearby, they have some amazing deals on parts and prebuilt systems. Check out my suggested setup!

Yeah, I've seen some decent deals at Microcenter. Can't beat the prices when you're building it yourself!

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it at that price. I built my system for $1000 almost 2 years ago with better specs: RTX 4060 Ti (16 GB), i7 12700KF, 1 TB SSD M.2, and 32 GB DDR4 RAM. Just gives you an idea of what you can get for your budget!

I suggest saving up for a GPU with at least 16 GB of VRAM. It'll pay off in the long run. Trust me, you don't want to limit yourself with just 8 GB.

I don't think it's worth it. You might be better off waiting for better deals or exploring custom builds.
