I'm considering purchasing a new PC for gaming and want to know if this setup is worthwhile. I mainly plan to play **Valorant** with solid FPS and **GTA 6** when it releases. While I enjoy story-driven games, I'm not too focused on graphics; my primary concern is **FPS performance**. I'd like a PC that will **last for several years**. Here's the build I'm looking at and its total price of **€1,913.57**:
1. **Processor:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7/5.2GHz - €516.90
2. **Motherboard:** MSI PRO B650-S WIFI - €144.90
3. **RAM:** Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHz 32GB - €124.99
4. **Case:** Forgeon Arcanite ARGB Mesh ATX White - €109.99
5. **Cooling:** Corsair NAUTILUS 240 ARGB Liquid Cooling - €97.99
6. **Power Supply:** Corsair RM850e ATX 3.1 850W Gold - €130.00
7. **Graphics Card:** ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 OC 12GB - €623.90
8. **SSD:** Forgeon Nimbus PLUS 2TB NVMe - €114.95
Is this PC too expensive for what I need?

If you can swing it, I’d recommend spending a bit more and going for the 5070 Ti. It’ll be worth the extra money in the long run!
I’d suggest reallocating your budget so that more goes towards the GPU. The CPU is pretty powerful compared to the GPU you’ve selected, which isn't a great match. You might want to consider a cheaper Intel CPU and upgrade to the 5070 Ti for better performance. Plus, I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Forgeon brand. Also, liquid cooling might not be necessary here. A good air cooler can do the job just fine and may save you some cash.
That's interesting! What components would you replace to save money for the 5070 Ti?
Honestly, I’d recommend going for the 7800x3D instead of the 9800X3D. You’ll save some money that you can put toward the 5070 Ti, which makes a huge difference in gaming performance!
The price difference isn’t that much, though. Is it still worth swapping?
That sounds expensive; I was hoping to keep my budget under €2000.
