I'm in my mid-60s and love gaming. Currently, I have a build with a 10600k CPU, a 2080 Super graphics card, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and an Aorus Elite B560M motherboard. I'm planning to rebuild my PC for what I hope is the last time. My new build includes an RX 9070XT graphics card, 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6000hz, a 9800X3D CPU, an MSI Mag B850 Wifi motherboard, and an MSI Mag Gold 850W power supply. Do you think this is a solid upgrade that will last me a while?

Honestly, the idea of this being your last PC build is a bit pessimistic! I'm 80 and just built a new one. No plans of stopping anytime soon! You’re never too old to keep upgrading.

This looks like a great upgrade! Just to be safe, I recommend checking part compatibility on PC Part Picker. It's always good to cover your bases before committing to a build.

If it were me, I'd stick with the 2080 Super for a couple more years before upgrading. Right now, it's a terrible time to buy new parts unless you absolutely need them for performance.

60 is the new 40, so don't sweat it! Definitely consider overclocking and undervolting the RX 9070XT and the 9800X3D. It’ll help maximize your performance and efficiency.
