I need some advice on a PC build I found on Facebook for my husband. It includes an RTX 1070 Ti, Ryzen 5 3600, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 750GB SSD, along with a 500W power supply and a gaming monitor. He's currently studying BIM and CAD, and he also enjoys gaming. I've built it two months ago, but I haven't used it because my friends aren't switching to PC. Is this a good deal? What would be a fair price for it, and can it handle the programs he needs? Thanks!

Honestly, this build seems a bit outdated. The RAM is a definite concern for BIM and CAD applications. If you're considering this for your husband, I would suggest looking for more RAM at least, and possibly a newer GPU too.
What kind of RAM upgrade are you thinking about? What would it cost to bump it up?
