Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a PC that's great for CAD, particularly for car and automotive engineering work. My current specs include a 7500F CPU, 9600X CPU, a 5060 Ti graphics card with 16GB of RAM, and 32+1TB of storage. I've heard mixed opinions about NVIDIA's performance, especially with DLSS 4 being touted as a game-changer for rendering in CAD. I'd appreciate your feedback on whether my build is sufficient and if you have suggestions for improvements. Also, what kind of monitors would you recommend for this setup? Thanks!

It’s not just about DLSS; NVIDIA has more support for optimization with CAD programs. Their CUDA technology has a significant edge over AMD’s offerings. If you’re focused on CAD, upgrading to a 5060 Ti or even better, a 5070/5070 Ti, could be a smart move.
I’d suggest considering an upgrade to the x700 CPU for better performance. It’ll really help with demanding tasks in CAD, especially with rendering.
When it comes to monitors, it really depends on your priorities. Do you want something larger with high resolution like OLED, or are you more into IPS panels? For CAD work, I'd recommend monitors from BenQ for budget-friendly options, or Dell's UltraSharp and Asus' ProArt series for those who want higher quality. Just remember there are tons of choices, so think about your budget and what features matter most to you!
What do you mean by that? Is the x700 really worth it?
