I'm putting together a new PC after 8 years and wanted to get some feedback on my setup. Here's what I have so far:
- **Mainboard**: GigaByte B650 Eagle AX (€120.00)
- **GPU**: GigaByte GeForce RTX 5080 Windforce OC (€1,020.00)
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (€310.00)
- **Case**: GAMDIAS ATHENA M3 (€55.00)
- **Power Supply**: Mars Gaming MPB850SI (€70.00)
- **RAM**: Patriot Viper Venom 32GB Kit DDR5-6000 CL30 (€95.00)
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE - Black (€40.00)
I already have an M.2 SSD, so it isn't listed here. I have a few specific questions:
1. Is the extra €140.00 for the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D worth it?
2. Should I consider the 5070Ti instead for €800?
3. Would it be better to wait for the RTX 50 Supers to be released?
I mostly play at WQHD, focusing on shooters (like R6S and Battlefield 6), and I want this setup to last as long as my current one.

Honestly, don't go with the Mars Gaming PSU. It's not reliable. There are better options out there for just a bit more money. You're better off investing in a quality power supply.
Between the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and the 9800X3D, I wouldn't say the extra cost is justified. Same goes for the 5070Ti versus the 5080. Just stick with the 7800X3D and the 5070Ti; you'll get great performance without overspending!
I think you'll be fine with the GigaByte board. I've been using it for almost a year without any issues. As for the GPU, I'd recommend the 5070Ti over the 5080 since the performance difference isn't that huge for the price. The 5080 is around 35% more expensive but only offers about an 8% increase in performance, which might not be worth it. Just something to keep in mind!
