Is This PC Build Good for Gaming?

I'm planning to build my first PC and I've chosen the following specs: Amd Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Gigabyte B850 EAGLE WIFI6E AM5 ATX motherboard, an INNO3D RTX 5070 Ti X3 OC 16GB graphics card, and a Super Flower Leadex VII Platinum PRO 850W power supply. I also have a Lian Li Lancool 216 RGB E-ATX mid-tower cabinet, G.Skill Flare X5 32GB DDR5 RAM, a Western Digital 2TB Blue SN5000 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, and a Deepcool AK620 CPU cooler. My budget is $2500, and I'm wondering if this setup is good for running AAA games at max settings at 1080p 165Hz, and if there's anything I should consider changing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

This build looks solid! I'd suggest considering a DRAM NVMe drive for your boot drive to speed things up a bit, but overall it should work great for what you're aiming to do.

If you decide to upgrade to an RTX 5080 instead of the 5070 Ti, you might want to switch out the 9800X3D for a 7800X3D to save some cash. However, I’d recommend waiting for the upcoming 5000 series super cards later this year—right now, the 5080 is pretty pricey for just a slight performance bump over the 5070 Ti.

$2500 is a decent budget, but I'd shop around because my build with similar performance would sell for about $2200. You can likely find better deals or components for this price.

You'll have no problem playing AAA games at max settings in 1080p with this setup. In fact, it should even handle 1440p really well! You're set to have a great gaming experience.
