Hey folks! I'm in the process of building a new PC primarily for video editing (using Adobe Premiere and After Effects) and gaming. Here's the build I've come up with:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 5600
- **Motherboard:** MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI
- **GPU:** ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 OC Edition 12GB GDDR6
- **RAM:** G.SKILL Ripjaws V 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200MHz 1.35V
- **SSD:** Kingston NV2 1TB NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen 4
- **PSU:** Cooler Master MWE 550W V2 Bronze
- **CPU Cooler:** Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition
- **Case:** Xigmatek Nyx-3F Mini Tower (Micro ATX)
- **Monitor:** AOC 24G2 24" 1080p 144Hz IPS (Freesync)
I'm a bit over my budget with this build, so I'm really open to suggestions for cheaper options that still provide comparable performance. Would love to hear your thoughts!

If editing is a priority, consider bumping up to a Ryzen 7 like the 5700X. You'll also want to swap out the RTX 3060 for an RX 6800 XT, which generally offers better performance for a similar price. Just make sure you check compatibility with your motherboard!

True, but the Ryzen 7 can be pretty pricey... That might push me way over budget.
