I'm considering purchasing a prebuilt gaming PC priced at £1664 and wanted some insights from the community. Here's what it includes: an Intel Core i7-12700KF processor with 12 cores, a CyberPowerPC Elite ARGB 360mm AIO liquid cooler, an MSI B760 Gaming Plus motherboard with Wi-Fi 6E, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and an MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. It also has a CoolerMaster 650W PSU and a 2TB Kingston NV3 NVMe SSD. Based on these specs, do you think it's worth the price?

Not a chance! The CPU and motherboard are already feeling outdated.

Got any suggestions for websites where I can find solid prebuilts? I saw this one on CyberPower.

Honestly, I think that build is only worth around £1350 at most. Even then, that's a stretch considering it's using a standard RTX 5070 and the 12th-gen Intel chip. I wouldn't pay £1664 for it.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that it's prebuilt, so I guess that's why the price is higher.

I wouldn't recommend going with Intel unless you have a specific need for it. Just personal preference.

Totally agree, it really comes down to what you're after.

Why not consider the AMD 9800X3D instead? It might offer better performance for your investment.
