Hey everyone! I'm currently putting together my first PC build and I could really use some feedback on my parts list. So far, I've got the following components:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 9600x
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Assassin X Refined SE 66.17 CFM
- **Motherboard:** MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max Wifi ATX AM5
- **Storage:** Samsung 990 EVO 2 TB M.2 PCIe
- **GPU:** MSI Shadow 2x OC RTX 5060 8 GB
- **Case:** Fractal Design Pop Air RGB ATX Mid Tower case
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850 W
- **Case Fans:** Thermalright TL-S12 X3 47.6 CFM 120 mm Fans (3 pack)
I'm still searching for RAM because prices are crazy right now, but I'm thinking of going with 32 GB (2x16) of DDR5. My main games will be Minecraft and The Sims 4 with mods, along with some multiplayer games like Fortnite and occasionally Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. I'm on a budget of $1200 and looking to upgrade over time. Are there any issues with my parts list I should be aware of, or better options that would fit my budget?

I’d recommend not settling for an 8GB GPU in 2025. If you can, consider upgrading to the Radeon RX 9060 XT with 16GB instead! It'll give you a lot more headroom for gaming down the line.

That's a good point! I might need to wait a month to get the RAM and save up a bit more for that GPU. I found the Powercolor Reaper as a potential option, but I noticed it doesn't have many reviews. Might be a risk!
