Is this pre-built gaming PC in Japan worth the price?

I'm moving to Japan soon and came across a pre-built gaming PC that I'm considering buying. Here are the specs: CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, with an AMD B550 Micro-ATX motherboard. It has an MSI MAG CoreLiquid E240 cooler, and the GPU is an NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti with 16 GB. The RAM is 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200, and it includes a 2 TB NVMe Gen4 SSD and a 2 TB SATA HDD for storage. The power supply is 650 W with an 80+ Bronze rating, and it runs Windows 11 Home. The price is ¥265,000, which is about $1,800 USD. I'm not sure if this is overpriced; I want to go for a pre-built since I don't feel ready to build one myself and prefer to avoid the hassle of sourcing parts in Japan. I'm okay if it's a bit pricey for the convenience, but I want to know if this price is reasonable or if I should be looking in a different direction.

Honestly, that sounds pretty overpriced to me. For $1,800, you could get a much better setup elsewhere. For instance, you could score a rig with a Ryzen 9 and a 5070 Ti, which would give you nearly double the performance.

Totally agree. You might want to look at building your own. Even if it's a hassle, it could save you a ton!

PC prices in Japan can be high, but I don't know if I'd pay that amount for what you're getting. The gaming market there is a bit strange and definitely pricier than in the US. Check local stores like Dospara or see if you can grab parts cheaper and build your own.

That would be a great idea! Just make sure to check kakaku.com for the best deals.

Not sure about the specific market over there, but from what I've heard, you will probably end up overpaying no matter what. That said, this particular build seems a bit steep for Japan. You might want to explore alternatives.

If you're looking for budget options, you should definitely compare prices on kakaku.com. Pre-built systems can be more expensive, and sometimes it's better to buy parts separately, even if it sounds complicated.
