Hi everyone! I'm considering upgrading my RAM for my MSI MPG B650I motherboard and I need some guidance. I currently have 32GB of DDR5/6000MHz dual channel RAM (TForce Delta), but I'm looking to bump it up to 128GB. I've read that my motherboard can support speeds up to 7200MHz, but for stability, 6000MHz seems to be the recommended maximum. I'm eyeing this RAM: [G.Skill Flare X5 128GB](https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-flare-x5-128gb-2-x-64gb-ddr5-6000-pc5-48000-cas-latency-cl34-desktop-memory-black/p/N82E16820374760?item=N82E16820374760). What do you think? Is it a good choice, or would you suggest a different brand? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

That's a lot of RAM! Usually, 32GB is enough for most tasks unless you're doing heavy video editing or gaming with multiple applications open. If you're looking for future-proofing, 64GB might be more reasonable without breaking the bank. As for your motherboard, double-check the specifications, but if it supports higher speeds, you might not notice a huge difference unless you're really demanding on the system. If you go for 128GB, just make sure your usage justifies it!

Yeah, I've heard that too—more RAM can only help if the processor can handle it. If you plan to do serious multitasking, go for the upgrade! But remember, sometimes the CPU can be a bottleneck.
