I'm currently running a 12400F CPU with a 5070Ti graphics card, and I'm looking to upgrade to something within the LGA1700 socket. Do you think moving up to a 14600K is a good choice? My main focus is on gaming, especially with AAA titles. Are there other options I should consider?

I made the same leap about six months ago, and to be honest, the differences aren't huge. You'll get a bit more speed and some additional frames, but it's not a game-changer.
Are you sure you really need the upgrade? If you're gaming at 1440p, your current setup should handle most games pretty well, so it may be worth waiting a bit.
If you can swing the AM5 platform, I’d recommend going for that. But if you're limited on budget, the 14600K is still a solid step up from your current CPU.
I'd say it's a decent upgrade if you're looking to improve performance, especially in a few specific games. But if you're after something substantial, consider going for the 7800x3d instead; it's really impressive for gaming.
I don't think upgrading to the 14600K is necessary right now. Your current CPU can probably last a few more years since the performance boost isn't significant, and there have been quite a few issues with that generation of Intel processors.
Got it, sounds like it's best to hold onto it for now.

Yeah, I'm definitely planning to game at 1440p.
