I'm considering an upgrade for my Dell G15 5520 laptop, which has an RTX 3060 and an i7 processor, currently running on DDR5 4600MHz with 2x8GB RAM. Since I'm mostly gaming (right now I'm playing No Man's Sky), do you think it would be worth it to upgrade to DDR5 5600MHz 2x16GB RAM?

If you’re hitting 90% usage in some games, then yes, an upgrade would help prevent crashes and improve performance in those demanding scenarios.

How intense are your gaming sessions? If you’re maxing out your current RAM frequently, definitely consider the upgrade. Otherwise, you might not see much benefit.

For games like No Man's Sky (NMS) and possibly Star Citizen, going for the extra RAM might be worth it to handle those bigger titles without hiccups.

Definitely! If you’re often hitting 15GB or more while gaming, the extra RAM will likely improve performance. Just keep an eye on your usage to see if it's even necessary.

Got it, thanks!

More RAM can help, but if you rarely use more than 16GB, it might not give you that much of a boost. Just monitor your current usage.
