I'm considering whether I should buy an additional 32GB stick to bump my RAM up to 64GB. Currently, I have 48GB of DDR4, but I can't upgrade to DDR5. I'm curious if 64GB would provide a significant performance boost compared to my existing 48GB setup. What do you think?

It really depends on how your RAM is configured. Mixing different capacities can lead to issues, and using four sticks might affect stability. I’d suggest checking the specs to see how fast they're running before upgrading.
Before you make an upgrade, check your current RAM usage. If you're not maxing out your 48GB, the upgrade might not be worth it. Many users find that games and regular tasks don’t require more than that, so it could end up being overkill.
Do you really need so much RAM? I manage with just 32GB while having over 100 tabs, games, and multiple programs running simultaneously. It's good to think about what you're actually using it for.
I just had the 16GB from my system and added a 32GB, so I figured I might as well use what I have!
Honestly, if you're mainly gaming, 64GB probably isn't necessary. Most games don't utilize that much RAM, so you might not see any difference in performance.
I believe I have 8GB x 2 and two 16GB sticks, all DDR4.
