Is Upgrading from 7800X3D to 9950X3D a Good Move for Gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm considering an upgrade from my current 7800X3D processor, which I'm using with a B650 motherboard. I have a chance to trade it for a 9950X3D and an MSI X870 Edge motherboard for £400. Do you think this is a good deal? Will I notice a difference in gaming performance?

Honestly, I don't think it's worth it for just gaming. The 7800X3D is still a great chip, and unless you're doing something really demanding, you might not see a big difference.

If you use your PC for work or other productivity tasks, then it might be a solid upgrade. However, for gaming, it depends on where you're playing. But if you're getting that deal for only £400, that's a steal!

Exactly what I was thinking! At that price, it’s hard to pass up unless you're mostly gaming.
