I'm currently using a system with a Ryzen 5800x3d, 32 GB DDR4 RAM, and an RTX 3080. I'm considering upgrading to a 9070 XT for £559. Is this upgrade worth it?

In my experience, switching to the 9070 XT was a great move. I saw a performance increase of about 30-40% in nearly every game, especially at 3440x1440 and in VR. It’s more than worth the investment in my opinion!
I'd say it's a good upgrade if you can expect at least a 30% performance increase, which seems to fit the bill here. So, yes, go for it!
Went from a similar setup and I can definitely say it was a huge upgrade overall. The 9070 XT delivers better ray tracing and raster performance. You'll also get that extra VRAM, which is a nice bonus.
Absolutely! The 9070 XT offers a performance boost of around 41% according to some benchmarks, plus you'll benefit from features like Frame Generation. If you're gaming at higher resolutions, it's a solid choice.
Just a heads up, most modern GPUs support Frame Generation. FSR 3.1 works on a variety of setups.
While a lot of people are saying yes, consider how much you're paying. With used 3080s going for about £280-£330, the effective cost of upgrading isn't as steep. Is it worth around £250 to £300 more? That's something to think about.

But what do you primarily use your PC for? That would help in deciding.
