Is Upgrading from an RTX 4060 to a 3070 Worth It?

Hey everyone! I'm currently using an RTX 4060 paired with an R7 5700X and 32GB of RAM, but I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU without spending too much. My budget is around 300 euros (about 350 USD), and I'm looking at the used market because new prices are just crazy. I'm considering the RTX 3070, as I'm planning to sell my current card for 300 euros, which would let me switch without additional costs. I'm gaming at 1440p and have seen videos showing an increase of about 20-30 FPS in games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War. What do you all think?

If you're planning to spend around 300 euros, you might want to check out the RTX 5060 Ti. It's a solid option and close to what you're looking for!

The prices of new RX 9060 XT cards are dropping, with some going as low as $389. It's definitely worth considering!

Honestly, I don't think it's worth it. The performance difference isn't huge, and you might end up feeling like you're not getting a significant upgrade for the money spent.

I’d say skip the 3070. It's basically obsolete now. Look for a newer card, preferably with around 16GB of VRAM—those will serve you better in the long run.

I believe you might be better off looking for something like the RX 9060 XT with 16GB VRAM. It's a newer architecture and can sometimes be found for around 350 dollars. It's generally a better deal in terms of future-proofing your system.

Yeah, but it’s about 140 euros more, which might push you over budget.
