I'm considering upgrading from Claude Pro to Max but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra cost. I really like using Claude and I keep running into limits that shorten my conversations. Has anyone made the switch and found it to be a game-changer? Also, I've recently started using Claude code and it's been a huge boost to my productivity! Just curious to hear your experiences and thoughts.

I've been pretty happy with the Max version. I'm using Claude code every day and it’s been smooth sailing for me so far!
I’ve never hit a limit with Max, even while using Claude code extensively. Totally worth it in my opinion!
I mainly use the Claude API for coding, but I still have Pro for other tasks. The Pro version does have limits, and it can be frustrating at times. However, if you're working on big projects, Max is a fantastic option as it speeds things up a lot. Just a heads up, it doesn't give warnings before you hit the message limit, which can be a bit annoying.
I upgraded to Max about four days ago and haven't looked back since! It's been fantastic for my workflow.
I heard the API costs can add up, and Max might actually be cheaper with similar capabilities, but I haven't given either a try myself.
