I'm currently using an i5 11600k along with 32GB of 3200MHz RAM and a 3090 GPU, and I mainly game at 4K resolution. I came across a deal at Microcenter offering a bundle with a 7800x3d processor and 32GB of 6000MHz RAM for about $590. I'm willing to invest in this upgrade, but I'm curious if it would significantly enhance my gaming experience at 4K compared to my current setup. Any insights?

Honestly, if you're gaming at 4K, you might be better off saving that money for an upgrade to a 5080 graphics card instead. I'm not convinced the CPU upgrade is going to yield enough performance boost. You could even consider selling the 3090 to help lighten the cost of the new GPU.

I get that thought, but I feel my i5 is really limiting me. I’ve barely tested it, but I believe my 3090 can handle most games well. Plus, I got it as a gift, so I kinda want to hold onto it.
