I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card from a 3070 and I'm trying to decide if I should go for the 5070 or the 5070 Ti. Here's my setup: Ryzen 7 5700X3D, 32GB RAM, and a Samsung NVME 990 Pro 2TB. I primarily play 1440p games like CS2, PUBG, and AAA titles like Witcher, Cyberpunk, and God of War. I usually turn on DLSS and play on high-optimized settings. I'm planning to keep this card for about 3-4 years before I do a full upgrade to AM5. Which card would be the better fit for my needs, the 5070 or the 5070 Ti?

If you're playing at 1440p, I wouldn’t even consider the 5070. VRAM matters a lot for modern AAA games, and running out of VRAM can really hurt your experience. The Ti is the way to go if you want better performance.
I'd definitely recommend going for the 5070 Ti. Maximizing your VRAM is crucial, especially for gaming at 1440p. It's going to give you more headroom for future titles and performance.
The 5070 is about 56% faster, while the 5070 Ti is 92% faster. The choice is really up to you if you think those performance gains are worth the investment at this point.
More VRAM is definitely important! However, I think it's worth waiting a bit to see how prices settle. The 5070 is looking decent at around £530, but the Ti might be a stretch right now. It’s all about finding the best deal.
Yeah, I've seen the 5070 at a good price, but the Ti can be way overpriced right now, for sure.
Totally agree! Also, considering the trend of games requiring more VRAM, going for the 16GB in the Ti version makes sense for long-term use.
