I'm considering upgrading my GPU and have around $600 to spend. Currently, I have a Ryzen 7 8700F, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 7600 (8GB), and a 1TB SSD. I'm really interested in the RX 7900 XT 20GB, but I'm not sure if it's the best option for me right now or if I should wait for something better. Any advice?

You’re probably better off grabbing a 9070 or even a 9070 XT. Especially with your budget, those options would give you more bang for your buck than the 7900 XT.
Prices for GPUs are on the rise, so I wouldn’t wait too long. The RX 7900 XT represents a significant upgrade from what you have. Just make sure your PSU can handle it since it's a big card, and check if you have enough physical space in your case to keep it cool.
If you're looking for something like a 9060 XT 16GB, it's a massive upgrade compared to the 7600. I've just upgraded, and the difference is pretty amazing!
Honestly, a cheaper option like the 9070 for around $590 could be a smart move. You'd get newer features and better driver support without stretching your budget too thin.
I would steer clear of the 7900 XT for this upgrade. Go for the 9000 series instead, like the 9070 or even the 9070 XT if you can find it. Trust me, the ray tracing performance is a notable improvement over your current GPU.

I’ll double check but I believe I have the space for it, my case is huge.
