I recently upgraded my GPU to a 9070xt, but I feel like my Ryzen 5 3600x can't keep up and I'm experiencing a lot of bottlenecking. I'm considering whether it's worth it to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5800x3d or if I should just bite the bullet and get a new motherboard along with the CPU. Oh, and my current motherboard is an MPG X570 Gaming Plus from MSI.

I think it's worth considering DDR5 if you’re upgrading. Your new GPU and NVMe drives could benefit from a better motherboard, so it might be a good time to upgrade.
Getting a 5800x3d is tricky right now; they’re hard to find new. I’d suggest looking at AM5 options since they’re more available and competitively priced.
Upgrading to a 5800x3d would give you a nice performance bump! If you’re planning to upgrade eventually, you might want to do it sooner rather than later.
Yeah, I’m thinking about it too. I just hope they keep making these CPUs for a while.
