Is Upgrading to a 5060 Ti Worth It for My Setup?

I'm currently using a Phantom Z390 Gaming 4 motherboard and a 2070 GPU for gaming. I mainly play Rainbow Six Siege, but I'm finding it difficult to hit 240 fps even on the lowest settings. My CPU is an i9-9900k, and I'm wondering if it might bottleneck my performance with a potential upgrade to a 5060 Ti with 16 GB. By the way, I game at 1920x1080 resolution. Should I go for the upgrade?

You can absolutely upgrade to the 5060 Ti. While your CPU, the i9 9900k, is getting older, many are still using it effectively. Check out this handy link for a bit more context on the upgrade!

Definitely consider upgrading to the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB! You'd see a significant increase in performance, possibly doubling what you're getting now, plus it supports multi frame generation. That should really help with those fps struggles!

You've got two main questions here:
1. Will a 5060 Ti 16 GB provide a performance boost over a 2070 with an i9 9900k? Yes!
2. Will your i9 9900k bottleneck the 5060 Ti? Maybe, since it supports PCIe 3.0 and the 5060 Ti uses PCIe 5.0, which could limit the bandwidth somewhat. However, I still think you should upgrade the GPU now and see how it goes. If you're not satisfied after the upgrade, you can consider a CPU and motherboard upgrade later.
