Hey everyone, I recently got an AOC Q27G3XMN monitor that supports 1440p with HDR and a 180Hz refresh rate. Currently, I'm using a 3060 Ti, but it struggles to hit the 180 fps mark at 1440p, forcing me to play on low to medium settings. I'm considering upgrading to a 5070 Ti since it seems to have good value based on benchmarks. Is now a good time to make that upgrade, or should I wait for newer graphics cards to come down in price? Also, if I do go for a 5070 Ti, does the brand or model really matter? For instance, is a Gigabyte Aero OC significantly better than an MSI model, or are the differences minimal?

I made the jump from a 1070 to a 5070 Ti and the difference is insane! It runs everything smoothly except Cyberpunk at max settings, but even there, I can manage 50-60 fps with DLSS quality. Stick with 1440p for now; it's a safer bet!
Upgrading to the 5070 Ti is a big step forward for 1440p gaming. Unless you're waiting for some super-high-end cards that might not even be cheaper, I'd say go for it! Also, most vendor differences are minor, so focus on aspects like cooling and noise. It should be a reliable card for years to come!
Definitely worth upgrading! I swapped my 3060 Ti for a 5070 Ti and the performance boost was massive. I ended up going with the ASUS Prime version which has been fantastic for cooling and noise.
The 5070 Ti is a powerhouse for 1440p gaming. You'll find it handles games really well, often even making you consider 4K. I've seen it perform excellently without issues at that resolution!
I've had my 5070 Ti running some impressive 4K games too, and while I don't always need 60 fps, I'm getting around 110-120 without any stuttering, which is pretty amazing!
I just switched from a 3070 Ti to a Ventus 3X 5070 Ti, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely worth it! The improvement is like night and day.

Sounds like you made a solid choice! I found a PNY 5070 Ti OC at a decent price, but I'm wondering if I should go for something like the Gigabyte Gaming OC instead.
