I'm thinking about upgrading my current setup to include a 5600X CPU and a 5060 GPU for around 700 euros. I'm moving from a GTX 1660 Super and a Ryzen 5 3600. This price also covers an additional 16GB of DDR4 RAM. Unfortunately, I can't upgrade to AM5 because of the high RAM prices at the moment. Would this upgrade be worth it in 2026? I'd recommend considering spending a bit more for either a 5060 Ti with 16GB or a 9060XT with 16GB. The 5060’s 8GB VRAM can be limiting, especially as games get more demanding. If it starts using system memory, you could run into crashes with only 16GB of RAM. Overall though, your build looks solid! 16GB should last you a year or two until RAM prices drop, and you can stick in 32GB of DDR4 later on. Enjoy your upgrades!
