I'm in the process of upgrading my CPU because my current AMD Ryzen 3700X isn't cutting it while playing Escape from Tarkov. Initially, I wanted to get the 5800X3D, but it's been out of stock everywhere, and I'm hesitant to buy second-hand. Now I'm considering the 5950X. Will this upgrade actually improve my FPS in Tarkov? For context, I have an AORUS X570 Elite motherboard and an MSI RTX 3070 GPU.

The extra cores of the 5950X won't really help in Tarkov, as the game doesn't utilize them effectively. You might be better off with a cheaper option like the 5600X or 5700X instead.
What's the difference between the 5900X and the 5800X/5800XT? If I'm already considering a 5950X, why not just go for that?
