Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my PC since my current GPU and CPU are pretty outdated. I'm considering the 9060xt with 16GB of memory and the Ryzen 7 5800xt for the upgrade. Do you think these choices are solid, or should I look at other options? Also, are there any other parts I should consider upgrading while I'm at it? Just to give you a bit of context, my budget is under $800, I mainly play FPS games, but I'd love to run more demanding games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Expedition 33. Additionally, I work as a 3D artist using Blender and hope to start streaming too. Here's a rundown of my current specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 6-core (3.20GHz)
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 8GB x2 (16GB total)
- Motherboard: ASROCK B450 Steel Legend
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
- Storage: 500GB Kingston SSD, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda HDD, 1TB Kingston SSD
- PSU: Corsair Cx550f RGB 550W 80 Plus Bronze
Thanks for any feedback! This is my second PC build, so I'm eager for advice!

Totally agree with the emphasis on NVIDIA for 3D work! I'd also recommend looking into the RTX 4060ti or 4070 if your budget allows. They can make a big difference for rendering and gaming at higher resolutions, especially given your interest in streaming. Just make sure your power supply can handle whatever new GPU you pick!
Honestly, if you're working with Blender, you might want to skip AMD GPUs altogether. NVIDIA cards generally perform better with 3D applications. The RTX 5050 is more powerful than the 9060xt for Blender tasks, so consider that if you're serious about 3D work. Also, upgrading to 32GB of RAM would significantly help your performance in Blender. The CPU is less critical in this scenario, but if you can swing it, look at the Ryzen 5 5600 or 5700x; they're both great upgrades!
