I'm considering upgrading my PC, but I'm a bit out of touch with the latest hardware. I currently have an NVIDIA 3070, which I upgraded a while ago, and I'm thinking about a bundle deal that includes a 9800x3D, an MSI X870 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard, and some Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory. I know demand and prices are a bit crazy right now, so should I go for this upgrade, or would it be better to explore other options? I'm mainly playing Valorant, and I've noticed the x3Ds perform well in that game. Although I don't absolutely need an upgrade, I'm just not sure if committing to the 9800x3D is the best path. I often run 1440x1080 resolution, which I like, but I'm struggling to hit 240fps consistently on my monitor. Any advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, if you don't really NEED to upgrade right now, it might not be the best idea. Your 3070 is still decent for gaming, especially if you're mainly playing Valorant. Unless you're hitting serious performance issues, it might be better to hold off for now and see how the market stabilizes.

What do you think would be a good upgrade path if I wanted to wait it out? Just curious! I'd like to know when it might be worth it to invest again.
