I'm currently using a GTX 1060 6GB with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 550W power supply. I'm considering upgrading to an RTX 3080 Ti (12GB), adding another 16GB of RAM for a total of 32GB, and switching to a power supply rated at 850W or 1000W. The 3080 Ti costs about $370, and I want to know if this upgrade is a wise decision or if I should consider an alternative.

First off, what do you need the GPU for? If it’s for gaming, that 3080 Ti is a fantastic choice, especially at that price! Just make sure to grab a quality 850W power supply with an 80 Plus rating. That should handle the load just fine!

I'm mainly gaming, so I want something that can last a few years before I need to upgrade again.
