I'm thinking about upgrading my graphics card to an RTX 5060 8GB since I found a good deal on it. Here's my current setup: Aorus X570 Elite Pro, Ryzen 5 5600x, GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, and 32GB RAM. I've been using Userbenchmark to compare, but I'm not sure how reliable that is. I play games like Fortnite, CS:GO, Valorant, DBD, Hogwarts Legacy, and Marvel Rivals, and I've also been working with Unreal Engine, where I've been experiencing crashes and slow rendering times. The games are lagging more than they used to, especially with detailed scenes. I prefer NVIDIA over AMD, and I noticed some sites have the RTX 5060 and RTX 4000 series priced similarly. By the way, I also found a discount for the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. Would either of these options be a good fit for me? Thanks!

Userbenchmark isn't the best for deciding on upgrades. Check out reviews specific to the games you play and your workflow in Unreal Engine. The performance can vary widely depending on what you need the card to do. I'd also suggest you look into the 5060 Ti if you're going to be rendering more often.
Honestly, I'd steer clear of 8GB cards in 2025. They just won't keep up with games and rendering demands anymore. If you're planning to play at a higher resolution or get into more demanding tasks, you'll want something with more VRAM like the 5060 Ti 16GB or even the 9060 XT.
Definitely lean toward the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. 16GB will give you a lot more headroom for games and productivity tasks, especially if you're using Unreal Engine. VRAM is crucial for handling more details, so don't settle for the 8GB.
Is the 4060 Ti 16GB a better fit? I've heard that one’s pretty solid too.
What makes 8GB so limiting these days?
