Is Upgrading to an RTX 5070 Worth It for Sim Racing?

I've been using my PC mainly for sim racing at 1080p with a single monitor, but I'm looking to upgrade to triple monitors, ideally aiming for either 1080p or 1440p. Currently, I have a GTX 1070 founders edition in my setup. I'm considering upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D or 5800X3D since I'm still on the AM4 platform. I recently found an RTX 5070 at my local store for around $670 before tax, but I'm trying to figure out if it's a good move for games like BeamNG considering everything I've found points to the 5070 Ti.

Honestly, the RTX 5070 is a fantastic card, and while it’s aimed at 1440p and even 4K gaming, it might be overkill for just 1080p. However, if you're planning to switch to a triple monitor setup, it could really enhance your experience. Just keep in mind, you might not fully utilize its potential at lower resolutions. Still, if VR is something you're interested in, it’s probably worth the upgrade!

Good point about VR. A card like the 5070 will definitely help with performance in those scenarios, but I’d make sure your other components are up to snuff too!
