I'm considering upgrading to Windows 11 since I mainly use my PC for gaming. I had been waiting to get the option for some time, and now that it's available, I want to know if it's really better than Windows 10. I've heard mixed reviews lately, with some saying it has issues, so I'm looking for a gaming perspective on whether the upgrade is worth it or if I should stick with Windows 10.

If you don’t mind the idea of security risks, sticking with Windows 10 is an option as long as you’re careful online. But without updates, you’ll be on your own, which can lead to problems down the line. Just keep in mind that eventually, you'll likely need to upgrade.

If your games are compatible with it, you might want to consider switching to Linux. I’ve been enjoying gaming on Linux for a while now, and many titles work well. However, some games with specific anti-cheat protections are still Windows exclusive, so weigh your options carefully.

It's essential to move to Windows 11, especially since Windows 10 won’t get updates anymore. Security risks are a real concern, as vulnerabilities can come from various sources, not just sketchy sites. You really should keep your OS and software up to date to stay safe.

Windows 10 is reaching its end-of-life and will no longer receive consumer security updates soon. Unless you have a really good reason to stick with Windows 10, you should consider moving to Windows 11. It offers better security and improved compatibility with new drivers and software.

Honestly, Windows 11 has some great gaming features like better borderless fullscreen support and enhanced HDR. But some users report more background bloat with it. I’ve found older games run a bit better on Windows 10, but for newer releases, the updated scheduler in Windows 11 might give you an edge.
