I'm wondering if Windows 11 24h2 is stable enough to upgrade from 23h2, or should I hold off until 23h2 reaches the end-of-life in November? What has been your experience?

I've had a rough time since I upgraded to the newer version last year. I recommend sticking with 23h2 for as long as you can—I think it's safer!

Honestly, it's up to you! I usually update whenever there's a new version and I've never faced any major issues. Just keep your system backed up and you should be fine!

In my experience, it runs pretty well. I like to wait a few weeks before jumping into the big updates, just to make sure any bugs are sorted out. That seems to work most of the time!

I generally have avoided many major problems, but I did face some driver issues here and there. The worst part was when I'd get a sudden black screen after an update—very annoying!

Was that due to failing hardware or just poor drivers from the manufacturer?
