I'm experiencing a frustrating problem with Discord on Windows 11. I can't hear anyone during voice chats in both server channels and direct calls. Additionally, I've tried uninstalling Discord to reinstall it, but nothing happens when I go through the control panel. I've also checked and there's no install folder appearing in File Explorer. What can I do about this?

Definitely check your audio settings in both Discord and Windows. In Discord, ensure it's set to the right audio device. You can do a mic test there too. For Windows, you want to make sure that it recognizes the headset you're trying to use. If you still can't hear anything, see if you can access the 'Add or Remove Programs' setting directly by typing it into the start menu instead of navigating through menus.
First off, make sure no one in the Discord server has muted or deafened you. If that's all good, then try restarting your PC. You can also reset the Discord app through Windows settings, which might resolve this issue. Don't forget to check if your headset's firmware and drivers are up to date!
If you’re running into trouble uninstalling, just try deleting the Discord app directly. Sometimes those control panel options can be tricky. And yes, if you can hear other sounds normally, it’s likely just a settings issue. Check those Voice & Video settings in Discord!
